EESE has applied for a securities exchange licence in terms of section 7 of the Financial Markets Act, 2012 for the purposes of establishing and operating a new securities exchange. Equity Express Securities Exchange (Pty) Limited (registration number: 2015/197820/07) has been incorporated for the sole purpose of facilitating the operations of the potential EESE exchange.
