What about changes in employment trends, recruitment trends, modern and evolving human resource strategies? Keep your knowledge up to date and earn Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points by participating in professional education events delivered by highly acclaimed local and international subject matter experts.

There are two distinct “types” of CPD activity – verifiable and non-verifiable.Please note that 50% of CPD points must comprise of verifiable activities. 

“Verifiable” means that proof can be provided that the CPD points were achieved, i.e. via certificate of attendance. 

“Non-verifiable” means that evidence cannot necessarily be provided to show that the CPD hours were achieved. These activities would be submitted (and accepted) based on trust. 

Examples of acceptable verifiable activities (and proof) would include:

Education & Training
  • Certificate of attendance or competency
  • Statement of results (related to qualification)
Mentoring & Coaching
  • Mentoring/Coaching is an unverifiable activity
  • Proof of formal training or presentation event & content
  • Enterprise Development is an unverifiable activity
Reading & Publishing
  • Proof of published article/research on relevant topic and platform
  • Reading is an unverifiable activity
  • For “reading” to be verifiable, it must be linked to an online quiz as managed by industry body/journal to which it refers
Service to the Industry
  • Proof of participation (i.e. attendance/submission of reports) for relevant committee/ task team etc
  • Official representation for industry at relevant body (i.e. BUSA) and submission of reports
